Ineke is a director in the firm’s Corporate Department in Cape Town. She was admitted as an attorney and notary in 2003.
Ineke has experience in corporate and commercial law and her particular area of expertise lies in cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
Ineke has been involved in a number of legal due diligence investigations for clients in respect of proposed acquisitions. She also advises on black economic empowerment, commercial property transactions, share sale and shareholder agreements, sale of business agreement and joint venture arrangements. She advises McDonald’s in respect of lease and property related matters.
Ineke's recent transactions include advising McDonald's Corporation on its 20 year franchise agreement with Shanduku Group in respect of McDonald's restaurants in South Africa and advising foreign investors in respect of their participation in the independent power producer tender published by the South Africa Department of Energy.
