  1. Acted in respect of R2.35 billion of funding provided to Virgin Active South Africa (Proprietary) Limited by a consortium of lenders.

  2. Acted for Investec Bank Limited in respect of a pre-delivery payment financing transaction for 4 new Boeing 737-800 Aircraft which are being acquired by Comair Limited from Boeing.

  3. Acted for a local mining company in connection with funding provided by a Canadian shareholder of the rand equivalent of US$26 million, in order to refinance it local debt.

  4. Acted for Resilient Property Income Fund Limited and Investec Bank Limited in respect of the establishment of the Resilient Property Income Fund Limited R500 million Domestic Medium Term Note Programme.

  5. Acted for Toyota Financial Services (South Africa) and Nedbank Capital, a division of Nedbank Limited, in respect of the issue of R200 million Senior Unsecured Zero Coupon Notes under the Toyota Financial Services (South Africa) R5 billion Domestic Medium Term Note Programme.

  6. Acted for Clindeb Investments (Proprietary) Limited and Nedbank Capital, a division of Nedbank Limited, in respect of the issue of R600 million Senior Unsecured Zero Coupon Notes under the Clindeb Investments (Proprietary) Limited R2,5 billion Domestic Medium Term Note Programme.

  7. Acted for Barloworld Limited and Nedbank Capital, a division of Nedbank Limited, in respect of the issue of R404 million Zero Coupon Notes under the Barloworld Limited R10 billion Domestic Medium Term Note and Commercial Paper Programme.

  8. Acted for BNP Paribas Arbitrage Issuance B.V. in respect of the issue of R10 million Certificates relating to CADIZ Dynamic Global Opportunities ER Index under the BNP Paribas Arbitrage Issuance B.V. Warrant and Certificate Programme.
